Hi, I’m Sharon Ann, the owner of Sage & Eve photography a West Midlands based baby photographer.

My sitter sessions are all about capturing beautiful portraits to remember this milestone. Sitter sessions are all about capturing those first smiles and chuckles, gorgeous baby rolls and your baby’s personality. That cheeky little face your baby has, that wide eyed smile that melts your heart.

These sessions take place when your child is sitting unaided , usually around 6-9 months old(ish). These sessions are a lot of fun and a wonderful way to see how much your baby has changed.

I have lots of props and outfits available to use or you can choose to bring your own in addition. If you’ve had a newborn session with me previously I often use some of the same items during your baby’s sitter session. This is a fantastic way to show just how much your little has grown and are perfect for displaying on your walls next to your newborn images.

I look forward to capturing some beautiful, timeless and very special images of your baby at my cosy studio in Sutton Coldfield.

How it works

These milestone photoshoots are best done at between 6 and 9 months of age, when your baby is sitting independently and confidently, but not yet crawling. These sessions are perfect for capturing those beautiful expressions and changing features, they grow so much in that first year it’s such a sweet age to shoot.

These milestone baby sessions are really good fun as your baby’s personality is starting to blossom and they are usually fascinated by their surroundings. We will discuss all your ideas and set ups prior to the day during your pre-consulation, at this point we will also discuss your baby’s routine to plan the best time to schedule your session to enable that we get the most smiles. My aim is to do a varied setups and maybe if you’ve been to me previously for your newborn session we can incorporate some the items used from your newborn session to show just how much your baby has grown, these also look great to display as a collection on your walls.

Booking In

A £49 deposit is required in order to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your chosen digital package when you are invited back to the studio for a relaxed ordering appointment to view your images.

Your Questions

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK?

The best time to book your sitter session is any time from your newborn session and onwards, You can either book in advance to secure your booking in my diary – we can pop a date in the diary and adjust it as needed to when your baby is able to sit up unaided, but is not yet crawling. Usually this is around 6-9 months of age.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING TO THE SESSION?

Your usual baby bag, some of your baby’s favourite snacks and drink as modelling can be hungry and thirsty work. During your consultation we will discuss different looks you would like for the session. After booking I will also send your a prep pack with what clothing you should wear & what any siblings attending should wear – should you or any older children wish to take part in a couple of images with your little one. Otherwise all props & clothing for baby will be provided from myextensive collection.

WHAT IF MY BABY DOESNT CO OPERATE?

Prior to the session I will send over your session preparation guide which will help you plan ahead as much as possible for a happy baby. The start time of the session will also be tailored to baby’s nap time to ensure awake happy smiles.

HOW CAN WE BOOK?

Simply use the contact form below to get in touch & let me know when your baby is turning one, £49 secures your shoot. This £49 is then taken off of your chosen package.

WHEN WILL WE SEE OUR IMAGES?

You will be invited back to the studio around a week later for an ordering appointment to view your final gallery of images, we will book this during your shoot. This is when you will choose your package along with any additional products.
