Hi, I’m Sharon Ann, the owner of Sage & Eve photography offering Family Photoshoots at my beautiful Studio in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Would you love some updated family portraits or maybe this will be your first portraits as a family, either way I have you covered. I love capturing beautiful and timeless family portraits.
I believe that family portraits are so important. Families grow and change so fast, it can be hard keeping up. Family is where it all begins, it is the centre of your world. Whether you would just like some new images of your children, you as a couple, your immediate or your extended family and even your pets in a studio setting or an outdoor location, I will capture the essence of your family. These photographs will look stunning displayed in your home and be yours to treasure for a lifetime.

How it works
Professional Family Photoshoots are a great opportunity to get the family together to have some fun and create some beautiful memories. My family photography sessions are a great way to capture photographs of all of your family including pets and also individual portraits of your children too.
I offer family portrait sessions either in my Sutton Coldfield studio or outdoor location. I like to take beautiful family photographs to capture your family’s personalities.
Once you are booked in for your family photoshoot, I will invite you to either come to the studio or we can arrange a video call for a pre-consultation to discuss any ideas you may have and how you would like your family to be photographed. We will discuss colour schemes as well as outfits and props for the session.
At different times in the year, I do offer mini sessions. These are a great way of getting those professional photographs without having a longer session time. Mini sessions are usually in Spring (Mother’s Day, Easter and Bluebells), Father’s Day, Summer, Autumn and Christmas.

Booking In
A £49 deposit is required in order to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your chosen digital package when you are invited back to the studio for a relaxed ordering appointment to view your images.

Your Questions
I am a Birmingham Family Photographer based in Mere Green , Sutton Coldfield.
Honestly, it’s always the right time for a family photoshoot! There is no specific perfect age for your children and the session is a fabulous idea if you just want some lovely photographs of you all together
Family sessions can be booked at anytime. I do advise booking in advance by around 4-6 weeks where possible to get a date and time that works to your schedule and plan effectively for your shoot.
Each session is tailored with your expectations in mind. A consultation takes place either in person at my studio in Sutton Coldfield or via zoom to discuss your ideas and vision for your shoot, which include styling, colours, posing, outfits and editing. Once booked in, you will receive a preparation guide to help you prepare for your session.
Your clothing is one of the most important things about the photoshoot, it’s what gives your photographs that overall cohesive look that you just won’t get if you randomly pull a top out your wardrobe on the morning of the shoot. I will send you a prep guide after booking with advise on what to wear. We will also discuss your outfits during your pre-consultation, I am more than happy to help you piece all outfits together from your own clothing or I can advise you what to buy for you and your whole family if you wanted to purchase something special for the occasion. I also have a range of dresses for moms and girls should you wish to use them.
The session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. This includes changes of clothing, backdrop changes, posing and lighting if in studio different areas if on location. I will also be photographing members of your family together, as smaller groups and individually. Sessions are relaxed and fun, my aim is for you to feel completely at ease.
Generally if it is dry on the day then we will go ahead with the session. Of course if it is raining, or due to rain then we can reschedule or switch to a studio session. I check multiple weather apps and will normally make the call in the morning on the day day of your photoshoot.
Simply use the contact form below to get in touch & let me know when your due date is, £49 secures your shoot. This £49 is then taken off of your chosen package.
You will be invited back to the studio two weeks from your session for an ordering appointment to view your final gallery of images, we will book this during your shoot. This is when you will choose your package along with any additonal product
