Hi, I’m Sharon Ann, I specialise in maternity photography in Birmingham and the owner of Sage & Eve photography. I provide professional Maternity Photoshoots in Birmingham and surrounding areas. I create stunning memories to hang proudly in your home. Firstly let me congratulate you on your pregnancy. Whether it is your first baby or your an experienced parent, pregnancy is a wonderful and exciting time.
I understand during pregnancy you may not be feeling your most glamorous, but rest assured I have been helping pregnant women capture the miraculous change that their body is going through, this means working with any insecurities you may have during your photoshoot. With my years of experience I will help you pose to accentuate your beautiful new curves. I have years of experience in lighting and posing to flatter the pregnant female body alone, with partners and as a family. Also offering guidance on choosing gowns that flatter you from the vast collection of outfits available to you for use during your session.

How it works
Professional maternity photoshoots are a fantastic way of documenting such a precious time in your life. Your maternity photoshoot will enable you to capture this very magical time of your family’s growth with creative and memorable photographs your children will be proud to look back on and you will be able to display in your home and cherish for years to come.
Maternity photoshoots are a relaxing and enjoyable experience. everyone has different ideas and inspiration for their session, I will take the time to discuss any ideas you may have during your pre-consultation. Maternity photoshoots are styled to suit you, I have a vast selection of drapes, dresses, bodysuits and accessories from amazing designers Mii Estilo and KH Fashion to suit all tastes. Whether you want to be captured alone, as a family or would love some creative couple’s maternity photographs, I aim to capture your pregnancy as a stunning piece of art.
My aim as a maternity photographer in Birmingham is to capture beautiful photographs of your pregnancy, you may have reservations or feel apprehensive, it can be daunting revealing your bump in those final weeks of pregnancy but as your photographer it is my job to make you look and feel amazing.
Maternity portraits are best captured between 28-36 weeks into your pregnancy, by this time you will have a nicely shaped bumping will still be fairly comfortable.
Booking In
A £49 deposit is required in order to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your chosen digital package when you are invited back to the photography studio for a relaxed ordering appointment to view your images.

Your Questions
You can book your maternity session as soon as you are ready too. The ideal time is just after your 12 or 20 week scan, but don’t worry we can still book you in at any point. The session should then be scheduled to between 28 – 36 weeks.
Each session is tailored with your expectations in mind. A consultation takes place either in person or via zoom to discuss your ideas and vision for your shoot, which include styling, colours, posing, outfits and editing. Once booked in, you will receive a preparation guide to help you prepare for your session.
All you need to bring with you is some sets of underwear in nude, black & white, thongs and a strapless bras work best if you have them. If you have items you would like to be photographed in it’s also fine to bring those along.I have a vast range of maternity outfits and maternity dresses for you to use during your session from some stunning designers like Mii Estilo and KHFashion. We will discuss your ideas and vision for your session during our pre-consultaion, I will also send you a prep guide once you are all booked in.
Of course both are welcome, I encourage couple and family shots. In fact I love creating creative couples maternity images. I will advise you of what they should wear in your prep guide.
The session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. This includes changes of clothing, backdrop changes, posing and lighting. As members of your family may be present, your maternity session will include photographs of yourself and along with a variety with your children (if you have them) and also your partner/husband if present. I adore capturing your family maternity portraits.
Your session is all about your vision. Whilst some clients are happy to have nude photographs or to show more skin, you do not have to0. We will only photography what you are comfortable doing.
Any concerns you have are discussed during your consultation and will be taken care of during retouching as standard to ensure you look like the very best version of yourself.
My job as your photographer is to make you look incredible, I will pose and light you in a way that is flattering and accentuates your curves.
Simply use the contact form below to get in touch & let me know when your due date is, £49 secures your shoot. This £49 is then taken off of your chosen package.
You will be invited back to the studio two weeks from your session for an ordering appointment to view your final gallery of images, we will book this during your shoot. This is when you will choose your package along with any additonal products.
